The international rating agency MicroFinanza Rating (Italy) has assigned a social rating to MFO Arnur Credit LLP.

Arnur Credit has passed the international social rating assessment by the Italian company MicroFinanza Rating, certified by the World Bank Group – SGAP for the assessment of microcredit organizations and banks. According to the results of activities in 2011, the international socially oriented rating company Arnur Credit was assigned a social rating in accordance with internationally accepted standards "sBB".

According to the experts of the rating company, Arnur Credit has an effective ability to realize its goals and objectives in practice and promote assigned social objectives, a high probability of achieving their social goals. Social rating is an external, reliable, and responsible assessment of the institutional capacity of microfinance organizations (MFOs) for the practical implementation of their social mission and the achievement of social goals. This rating provides an objective conclusion on the social performance of the organization and provides an opportunity to compare a specific MFO with other microfinance organizations (MFOs) not only in the Central Asia region, but also around the world. Social rating plays an important role in strengthening the social responsibility of companies, as well as in increasing transparency and efficiency in the microfinance market.

Background: The international rating agency MicroFinanza Rating, founded in 2000, is one of the most active and experienced rating agencies in the microfinance industry in the world. MicroFinanza Rating specialists have carried out more than 480 projects in more than 60 countries. The head office of MicroFinanza Rating is located in Milan (Italy), the agency also has a network of regional offices in Latin America, the CIS countries, Southeast Asia and Africa.
